Norwood's New 'Lycra-style' Coup

Remember the ingenuity of Norwood's Lycra guernsey in the early 90's? Well it looks like they've done it again - this time it's a new logo. The SANFL's wooden spooners are keen, once again, to lead the way in football innovation. But have the power brokers in Latte Land outdone themselves this time?

Traditionalists are sure to lament the discarding of Norwood's old logo. But as you'll see, the brilliant designers of this new logo have captured the very essence of the Norwood Football Club.

Study the logo carefully and note the following:

  • The colour red has been dumped in favour of a darkish PINK.
  • The left leg is outstretched and pointed like a BALLERINA.
  • The ball is being kicked on its end which would result in a forward-tumbling MONGREL.

So it's clear the logo symbolises a typical Norwood footballer: A PINK BALLERINA MONGREL. Clever. Very clever.

We here at U-DOGS.net are absolutely chuffed with the new Norwood logo.
