A Nice Day At Alberton

Game #898, Round 4, 17/4/2005
Centrals 15.14(104) def. Port 13.13(91)

There's nothing like the taste of raw Magpie at Alberton Oval. But the meal was soured by injuries to McCabe (hamstring) and Ware (knee?). Like the South match last week, Centrals had to play a game of footy with one arm in a sling. At least this time the Dogs found a way to win. Some stats: 104 points is Central's highest score at Alberton for 12 years. We've now beaten the Magpies in the last 4 outings, which equals Central's longest winning streak against Port.
