Yes, the umpiring was bad. But the real issue was how the Dogs kicked themselves out of the game. We should have been a comfortable 6 or 7 goals up at halftime. Instead, numerous players missed easy shots in front of goal. You'd figure that eventually the Dogs would kick a little straighter, but the clangers continued in the second half, allowing a very ordinary, error-ridden Norwood side to get a sniff.

The bottom line is we lost to Norwood and a team that will not feature in the finals. Very embarrassing stuff. But hopefully this hiccup will get the Dogs fired up for the games ahead.
