Hamra Homes Oval was once again lit up like a Christmas tree as the Mighty Bulldogs took on the Roosters. Despite the bleatings of some insanely jealous opposition supporters, there can be no doubt that Centrals fans can boast the Premier local ground venue for night footy. Bulldog errors were the difference between the two sides, with the Roosters holding off a late charge to win by 2 points. The Doggies seem to be recapturing some of their old form, but still need to improve further if they hope to overcome the Eagles on Grand Final day.
