The Dogs continued to re-write the record books as they booked a record-equalling 7th consecutive Grand Final appearance. But a record the Dogs hold on their own is 7 consecutive 2nd Semi Finals wins. Incredible! Not to mention their 8th consecutive finals win over the Eagles.

The Dogs absolutely tore the Eagles apart with tough, honest, hard footy. At one stage, the lead was around 9 goals and the Eagles had only scored 1 goal up to half time. There was a mini comeback by the Eagles in the last quarter, but this was mainly umpire-assisted (you know, the usual dubious frees in front of goal) and was soon quelled by a fantastic snapshot goal by Schell.

Now let's sit back folks and watch the Eagles and Roosters kick the bird crap out of each other next Sunday. How sweet it is!
