A great start to the season by the Doggies. The new recruits and the promoted young guys seem to be settling in well. It's good to see the team now has the depth to cover the absence of several key players that are yet to return to league ranks.

And I noticed the official North Adelaide website matched its team's onfield performance with a less than stellar attempt at writing a match report:

"...the lights at Hamra Homes Oval are not conducive to a deep and meaningful match report."

Thankfully for Centrals and North supporters, the Centrals match reporter miraculously managed to write quite a detailed match report. Football fans can view it here.

And it was good that a healthy crowd of 6,400 turned out to see the game; Which goes to show that not all North supporters are like the half-hearted troublemakers that spend their lives posting crap on internet footy forums. By all accounts, there were plenty of North supporters and their kids enjoying the great football atmosphere. So congratulations to all the REAL North supporters who made the effort on Saturday night to step away from the computer and support their team!
