As Centrals fans, we've been spoilt rotten with memorable games of football. But every now and then, there's a bit of magic in the air and you have yourself a day at the football you'll never forget. "Where were you when Centrals trounced Norwood by 158 points and Havelberg kicked 14 goals?", is what the youngsters will ask us in the decades to come.

It was a special and memorable day for so many reasons:

• James Gowan's 150th game.
• Paul Thomas's 100th game.
• Daniel Havelberg kicked 14 goals. A feat no other Centrals player has achieved before.
• Centrals kicked their highest ever score against Norwood.
• Centrals achieved their highest ever winning margin over Norwood - 158 points. Which is also Norwood's worst defeat against anyone!
• Centrals becomes the only team this year to amass 400 posessions in a game.
• Brad Currie's final game. Brad has retired from football to take up a job in California. He was chaired off the field by his teammates.
